  General Dentistry

  Dental Implants

  Traditional dental implants are titanium posts surgically embedded into the jawbone. After a period of osseointegration (fusion of the implant to the bone tissue), the implants give your restorations stability that is virtually equal to that of natural teeth. Mini dental implants are titanium devices with a smaller diameter than traditional implants. Mini dental implants can benefit patients who have suffered some bone atrophy due to an absence of tooth roots, but want to avoid undergoing a bone graft in order to receive traditional implants. ESTEEM All-on-X dental implants are used to support a Prettau® Zirconia Bridge, a premium device that replaces an entire dental arch on the upper or lower jaw. As few as five of these special implants can support this restoration, which provides superior aesthetics, durability, and functionality.

  Invisalign

  Rather than the brackets and wires of braces, Invisalign uses clear aligners made from durable plastic. These aligners apply controlled tension to shift teeth into a more ideal position. Patients wear aligners all day except for when they eat, drink beverages other than cold water, and when they brush and floss. That means the trays are in more than 20 hours a day. After wearing an aligner for two weeks, patients discard that tray and switch to the next one in the sequence. This is repeated over the course of several months until treatment is over.

  Veneers

  Dental veneers address a wide variety of cosmetic flaws that can affect your smile. You don't necessarily need extensive dental work to get the results you want. In fact, for some patients, an entire smile makeover can be achieved simply using veneers on their own. The dental-grade porcelain used to create veneers is able to withstand regular wear and tear.   Sedation Dentistry

  Dental Crowns

  IV Sedation

  Absolutely. Dr. Craig Goldin is certified in IV sedation, and he will monitor you closely during your treatment using state-of-the-art equipment. Unlike general anesthesia, the sedative medication will allow you to remain awake (but drowsy) so you can still communicate with Dr. Goldin if needed. Dr. Craig Goldin, his wife, Dr. Marcy Goldin, and Dr. David Whalen, are dedicated to making visits to our Troy, MI, office as easy and comfortable as possible.   Smile Makeover

  Implant-Supported Bridges

  Implant-supported bridges are similar to traditional bridges in that both use a row of artificial teeth to fill the gap left in your smile. But instead of being held in place by dental crowns attached to nearby natural teeth, an implant-supported bridge is supported by small titanium posts embedded in the jaw. Once dental implants fuse with the bone, implants act just like tooth roots to keep bridges, dentures, and crowns firmly in place at all times.
